From food, clothing, and school supplies to community referrals and other essential services, we are here to try and help address everyday challenges and connect families with the resources they need to thrive.

The Parsons Tiger Pantry provides supplemental food assistance to Parsons Junior High students and their families. Available items may include pasta, rice, beans, canned vegetables, soup, cereal, easy-to-prepare meals, snacks, and other everyday grocery staples.

Food may be provided directly to students during the school day or packaged for families to take home. Assistance can support an individual student, siblings, or the entire household. Additional food or snacks may also be available before school breaks, depending on current inventory.

Clothing Closet
Clothing Closet
The Parsons Community Connect Hub offers clothing and essential items for students and their families, including boys’, girls’, men’s, and women’s sizes. Available items may include shirts, pants, jeans, shorts, jackets, sweatshirts, shoes, socks, underwear, and seasonal clothing.
Students and families may also receive toiletries and personal care items, such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, feminine hygiene products, haircare supplies, and basic first-aid items.
Depending on availability, additional resources may include baby supplies, household items, books, toys, and other donated essentials. If a requested item is unavailable at Parsons, your Community Connector may be able to locate it through another Community Connect school site or a local community partner.

School Supplies and Sports Equipment
Parsons students may receive backpacks, notebooks, binders, folders, pencils, pens, markers, and other supplies needed for school. Assistance may also be available for special projects, organization supplies, or other educational needs.
When available, students can also access PE clothing, athletic shoes, sports equipment, and related items that help them participate in school activities and extracurricular programs.
All resources are subject to availability.

Income verification (such as recent pay stubs or tax documents for parents/guardians in the household, including spouse, step-parent, or partner)
Please be sure all materials are submitted in full. Incomplete applications or missing documents may delay processing or result in a denied application.
Due to funding guidelines, priority enrollment is given to TK/Kindergarten students and their siblings, homeless students, and foster youth. EESD works hard to offer as many spots as possible at each school site, based on available staffing. Younger students will have priority during staffing shortages.
Families will be notified by email regarding their child’s enrollment status.
