Parsons Community Connect

The Community Connect Program is a part of the Shasta County Office of Education’s Community Schools Support Services. We are here to assist those facing mental health or behavioral challenges, homelessness, food insecurity, or difficulties with school attendance. Our goal is to walk alongside you, help troubleshoot issues, break down barriers, and support you in achieving your goals.

Summer 2026 Vouchers from EESD

26/27 School Year Backpack Giveaway!

EESD is offering 1 voucher per child for students in TK-7th grade. Vouchers are for summer activities through Redding Recreation or The Aquatic Center! Vouchers are to be used on one activity of up to $214. This voucher must be requested no later than June 5, 2026 and must be reedemed by July 15, 2026 (the activity can happen after 7/15 but it must be redeemed before then).

Here are the options!

Voucher for Redding Recreation activities/camps (depending on availability). Camps fill up fast! Other Summer activities through the Redding Rec will come out in June. Click here to see the Spring activities you can purchase with this voucher now. OR
Voucher for a family pass to the Aquatic Center.

Complete 1 form per child. Your voucher will be emailed to you!

Please make sure to register with the Redding Rec if you choose one of their vouchers.
